A free eye check-up camp was held today, 20 June 2025, at Nehru Garden in Jhunjhunu. Organized by the local health department in collaboration with a team of optometrists, this initiative provided basic vision tests, diabetic retinopathy screening, and prescription glasses guidance to residents.
The camp operated from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and was open to all age groups. No prior registration was required. More than 150 residents, including senior citizens and school-going children, visited the camp to get their eyes tested and to receive educational material on eye care.

Dr. Meena Sharma, leading the camp, said residents with serious eye issues were referred to local hospitals for follow-up. Basic spectacles were provided on-site, and educational materials on diabetes-related eye health were shared among those at risk.
