Good news for daily commuters and students! The Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) is launching three new rural bus routes starting June 27, linking Jhunjhunu with nearby Sikar via smaller villages like Nawalgarh and Mandawa.
Previously, travel between Jhunjhunu and Sikar relied on limited services—usually one bus per morning, two in evenings. Now, locals can expect five daily round-trips, beginning as early as 6:30 am and running until 8 pm. The enhanced schedule means better access to colleges, markets, healthcare, and government offices in Sikar.
The additions respond to requests from village leaders and commuters. Sarpanchs from remote areas noted hardships in reaching essential services due to poor transport—especially for women and elderly. Now, dependable buses eliminate long waits and unreliable rides.
Officials also highlight affordability: ticket fares remain under ₹50, with season passes available for daily travelers. Students from rural schools will benefit majorly, avoiding early waits or overcrowding.
What residents say:
Sunita Devi, a student from Mandawa, explains, “My college starts at 8; now I can take the new 6:30 bus and reach on time without rushing—it’s a big relief.”
