Biometric Aadhaar verification of a resident at an Ayushman Bharat eKYC counter in Jhunjhunu”

Over 200 eKYC Points Added in Rajasthan for Ayushman Bharat — Faster Access for Jhunjhunu Families

To strengthen the Ayushman Bharat health scheme rollout, the central government has added 200+ new eKYC registration centres across Rajasthan, including multiple points in Jhunjhunu city and surrounding tehsils.

This move is aimed at helping more people generate their Ayushman Bharat Digital Health ID and verify eligibility faster. Many residents in areas like Bagar, Nawalgarh, and Khetri had previously complained about long queues and delays during card issuance drives.

Now, with the new eKYC booths set up at gram panchayats, CSCs (Common Service Centres), and district hospitals, BPL families can:

  • Instantly verify their identity using Aadhaar
  • Register their health cards digitally
  • Get updates on nearby empanelled hospitals

District Health Officer Dr. Seema Dudi shared, “This expansion is important for rural outreach. We’ve seen that digital health cards significantly cut down paperwork during hospital admissions.”

In Jhunjhunu, 18 new centres were added this week. Each centre is equipped with fingerprint scanners, Aadhaar linking systems, and multilingual staff for rural ease.

The government aims to complete eKYC for all pending applications by August 2025.
