Pedestrian Safety Drive Begins Near Jhunjhunu Schools – 21 June 2025

The Jhunjhunu District Administration has launched a pedestrian safety campaign around major school zones starting today, 21 June 2025. Officers from the Traffic Department, local police, and school officials are coordinating to guide students and control vehicle movement during peak drop-off and pick-up hours.

According to officials, volunteers will be stationed at key points near Government Girls Senior Secondary and Kendriya Vidyalaya schools from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM and again from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. The aim is to reduce congestion and ensure safe crossing for children, especially as monsoon season increases slipperiness on roads.
