Rajasthan Electricity Department Launches “Bijli Samadhan” App — Easy Complaint Tracking for Jhunjhunu Users

Good news for electricity users in Jhunjhunu! The Rajasthan Electricity Department has officially launched its new mobile app “Bijli Samadhan” to help residents file and track electricity complaints in real time.

The app allows users to:

  • Lodge power outage, billing, or meter-related complaints
  • Upload photos/videos of faulty poles or transformers
  • Track the complaint status live, from assignment to resolution
  • Rate service once the issue is fixed

For people in towns like Mandawa, Surajgarh, and Pilani, where service complaints often go unrecorded, this app could be a real game-changer. The department promises that urgent complaints will now be addressed within 24 hours and minor issues within 3 days.

District Engineer Rakesh Dadhich said, “We’re aiming for faster response and zero paper chasing. People should not have to visit the electricity office for every small issue.”

The app is now available on Android’s Play Store and will soon be live on iOS. Helpline support and training videos are also being released to help elderly or rural users.
